The $MICHI community plans to migrate liquidity to PumpSwap via migrate.fun with a migration deposit window running between February 24th and ending March 10th (1 PM EST).
Migration lets holders swap old michi for new michi 1:1. Holders can claim their new michi within a 90-day claim period (March 10 to June 7) if they deposited during the migration window. After the claim period, a small late penalty will apply.
~445M of the 1B new token supply will be burned, preserving a key piece of michi lore and preventing dilution.
The move aims to unlock creator fees, balance the oversized LP for better price movement, improve supply control, and give michi a fresh chart/narrative. Michi's current MC-to-LP ratio is roughly 2:1, while most PumpSwap tokens range 10–30+:1. The oversized LP means price barely moves on buys or sells. Rebalancing allows for stronger price movement on the upside, while the bottomed-out position provides downside protection.
Migration enables proper supply management through the unmigrated tokens. Old michi swaps 1:1 for new michi, and the ~450M excess tokens will be burned to match the old supply — preventing any dilution.
